Dassault Aviation has delivered the first Falcon 8X to AmJet Executive, a charter operator based in Athens, Greece. The delivery took place on 5 October in the Dassault Aviation premises at Bordeaux Mérignac (Southwest of France) where are the final assembly lines of all Dassault aircraft.
The Falcon 8X is a three-engine business jet with a maximum range of 6,450 nautical miles and a cruise speed of up to M0.9. It is equipped with the third version of EASy avionics suite and a Honeywell 3D color weather radar.

With the delivery of a Citation M2 on October 4 to helitrip LLP, textron Aviation announced that they have hit the 5000 mark of the Citation light jet production since the first aircraft in 1972.
The light Citation jet line which includes the Mustang, M2, CJ3+ and CJ4 is the world largets fleet of busines jets in service.
All together with the larger models 7000 Citation have been delivered to date.
